At Ensemble Interior Design, we believe a beautiful home starts with a thoughtful process. Whether you’re refreshing one room, furnishing a new space, or planning a full renovation, our interior design process is built to make each decision feel clear, intentional, and tailored to the way you actually live.
From the first consultation to the final styling details, Michelle works closely with each client to understand their style, priorities, budget, and daily routines. The goal is not just to create a space that looks beautiful, but one that feels personal, functional, and easy to enjoy for years to come.
Step 2: Customized Proposal
After learning about your project, we'll prepare a personalized proposal outlining the recommended scope of work, estimated investment, deliverables, and design services that best fit your needs.
This proposal is tailored specifically to your project, giving you a clear roadmap of what to expect before making any commitment.
Step 3: In-Home Consultation
Once your proposal is approved, we'll schedule an in-home consultation to see your space in person. During this visit, we'll take measurements, evaluate existing conditions, discuss your goals in greater detail, and gather the information needed to begin designing.
This is also an opportunity to explore your style preferences, answer questions, and ensure every design decision is built around how you want your home to function and feel.
Step 4: Design Development
With a full understanding of your space and vision, we'll begin developing a comprehensive design plan. Layouts, material selections, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and custom details are carefully considered to create a cohesive design that's both beautiful and functional.
Step 5: Design Presentation
We'll present your completed design, walking you through each recommendation and explaining how every selection works together. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and refine any details before implementation begins.
Step 6: Procurement & Project Coordination
Once the design is approved, we'll coordinate product ordering, track deliveries, communicate with vendors, and collaborate with contractors and trades to help keep your project moving smoothly.
Step 7: Installation & Final Styling
The final step is bringing everything together. Furniture, artwork, lighting, accessories, and finishing touches are thoughtfully installed and styled to create a home that feels complete, intentional, and uniquely yours.
By the time we're finished, you'll walk into a space that not only looks beautiful but truly feels like home.
Step 1: Discovery Call
Every project begins with a conversation. During your complimentary discovery call, we'll discuss your home, your goals, your style, and the challenges you're hoping to solve. We'll also talk through your project timeline and investment so you can get a realistic expectation of what your project may cost before moving forward.
By the end of the call, you'll have a clearer understanding of how we can work together and whether we're the right fit for your project.
